This is a rare chance to get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at one of Australia’s most prestigious wine shows and build valuable connections in the industry.

Stewarding: The Heart of the Show

The RAWS committee is offering four volunteer stewarding positions for Rootlings members during Judging Week, from Monday, September 22, to Friday, September 26, 2025. These roles are crucial for the back-of-house operations—think glass washing, pouring, and setting up the different wine classes. We recommend getting involved on the main judging days, which are Monday through Thursday, to get the most out of the experience.

Exclusive Workshop & Tasting

As a special thank-you for your time, the RAWS committee will host a dedicated workshop tasting just for our members who steward. This unique session will be held on Thursday, October 9, alongside the sponsor tasting. A senior wine judge or committee member will lead the workshop, walking you through the judging process and helping to demystify how wines are evaluated. It's an incredible learning opportunity you won't want to miss.

Complimentary Exhibitor Tasting Tickets

We also have ten complimentary tickets for Rootlings members to attend the Exhibitor Tasting on Friday, October 10, 2025. This is your chance to taste and network with the winemakers and representatives behind the wines that were judged in the show.

A Path to Associate Judging

Here’s the biggest news: the RAWS is committed to developing future talent, and they’re offering at least one Associate Judge position for the 2026 Royal Adelaide Wine Show to a Rootlings member who volunteers as a steward at this year's show. This is a direct pathway for our members to step up and become a key part of the judging process.
