We're incredibly proud to announce that our very own Keenan Barrie, an aspiring viticulturist in the beautiful Rutherglen wine region, has won the prestigious 2025 Young Farmer Upskill and Invest Scholarship!

Keenan is a true advocate for sustainable grape growing, and his plans for the scholarship are inspiring. He will be diving into a Diploma of Viticulture to develop the deep technical knowledge required to become the best grape grower he can be. Furthermore, he's investing in the future of vineyard health by creating a native plant insectarium! This innovative initiative will attract beneficial native insects, using natural predators to control pests and reduce reliance on chemical sprays.

This scholarship is a huge step towards Keenan's goal of bringing cutting-edge, environmentally friendly practices to the vineyard.
