Dr Samantha Scarratt is the Chief Executive Officer of Vinehealth Australia, President of the Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology (ASVO), and a Director of the Australian Wine Industry Technical Committee (AWITC).

She brings more than 25 years of experience across the wine sectors of Australia and New Zealand, having held senior roles including Senior Consultant at Wine Network Consulting, Director of Grape Supply (ANZ) for Accolade Wines, and Viticulture Manager at Lion (NZ). In these roles she led large teams of more than 120 people, oversaw extensive vineyard operations, worked on vineyard and winery business sales and acquisitions, and negotiated major grape contracts valued at approximately $150 million.

Sam has contributed to research advisory committees across Australia and New Zealand for over a decade, helping shape viticulture’s research and development priorities. Alongside leading biosecurity for the South Australian wine industry, she is committed to strengthen collaboration across the sector and improving industry connectivity.

As President of the ASVO, she is focused on delivering value to members, growing membership, and supporting the organisation’s core pillars of Community, Knowledge, and Professional Development.
