WA Regional Leadership Accelerator Program 2025

The Regional Leadership Accelerator Program is a comprehensive leadership development initiative designed specifically for emerging leaders across Western Australia’s wine regions. Delivered in partnership between the Great Southern Wine Producers Association (GSWPA) and Wines of Western Australia’s Sustainability Program, this intensive program will equip participants with contemporary leadership skills, strategic thinking capabilities, and industry networks essential for driving regional growth and innovation.

Who Should Apply?

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Essential Requirements:

• Must be an owner of, or employed full-time or part-time by, a GSWPA wine producer or grape grower member business or APC member business • Demonstrated commitment to the wine industry

• Willingness to actively participate in the program and able to attend ALL workshop sessions • Business owner approval and support for participation • Able to contribute $1,000 (+GST) participant fee

PARTICIPANTS:

We actively encourage applications from candidates representing:

• Range of industry roles including viticulture, winemaking, production, administration, marketing & sales, cellar door & hospitality, value chain

• Industry innovators and emerging leaders

• Representatives from Great Southern, Blackwood Valley & Southern Forests wine regions

• Individuals seeking to develop leadership capabilities within the wine industry

• Mix of family businesses and corporate employees
