Are you the next evokeAG Groundbreaker?
Applications are now open for the 2026 evokeAG. Groundbreakers Program, a powerful platform for young Australian innovators aged 18–30 who are driving positive change across the agrifood system.
Whether you're working in research, agtech, sustainability, or food systems innovation, if you're creating impact, this is your opportunity to go further.
What makes a Groundbreaker?
You’re not just working on a great idea, you’re driven to make a difference. You might be a researcher, founder, producer, student, or community leader. What you all share is:
Commitment: You care deeply about the future of food, fibre and farming. You’re committed to creating a more sustainable and resilient agrifood ecosystem.
Drive: You’re already taking action, through a research project, innovation, startup or initiative, and you want to amplify your impact.
Aspiration: You’re ready to grow. You’re looking for opportunities to build your network, gain global exposure, and take your project to the next level.
As a 2026 Groundbreaker, you'll:
Present your work live at evokeAG. 2026 in Melbourne (17–18 February)
Receive a $3,000 bursary to grow your project or career
Gain one-on-one mentoring from industry experts
Be professionally profiled through photography, video, and national exposure
Join a legacy network of innovators from across Australia and New Zealand
For those applying you will be asked to reflect on the question:
How does your research, innovation or idea contribute to the future of agrifood by driving investment, fostering innovation or creating lasting impact?
Agrifood encompasses the entire journey of food, fibre and agriculture, from the paddock to the plate and plays a vital role in environmental, social and economic sustainability.
