Australia-China Winemaker Immersion Program

Australian Grape & Wine is calling for applications from early-career winemakers to take part in the Australia-China Winemaker Immersion Program.

From 10 October to 8 November 2025, four successful applicants will spend four weeks in Beijing, Shanghai and Ningxia - one of China’s most exciting wine regions.
 
Participants will:

  • Visit leading wineries including Treasury Wine Estates’ Stone & Moon Winery, Greatwall Château Terroir, Changyu Longyu Estate, and Yuanshi Vineyard

  • Connect with Chinese researchers, industry leaders and peers

  • Attend the China International Import Expo in Shanghai

  • Build skills, networks and cross-cultural understanding to tackle shared challenges like sustainability and climate adaptation.

 
The program is fully supported – with flights, accommodation, transfers and meals (excluding leisure days) covered.
 
Applications close 5:00pm AEST, Monday 9 September 2025.
