2025 NSW Rootlings Conference: An Opportunity for Rootlings State Representatives to attend
Outcome
We are providing financial support for five selected Rootlings from around the country to attend the NSW Rootlings Conference in Griffith, NSW, on June 16 and 17. The financial support includes transport, accommodation, and a 2025 NSW Rootlings Conference ticket.
This is an educational opportunity for Rootlings who attend to understand how the NSW program works, the conference component of Rootlings, and to network with other young people in the wine sector.

Application Process
Individuals wishing to apply to represent their state at the NSW Rootlings Conference need to apply by May 25, 2025, using the online form: https://form.jotform.com/251318099181863
A representative from ASVO, Wine Australia, and the Rootlings national project officer will select state representatives based on their potential to leverage this experience to grow in their home states and enhance their professional and personal development.
Applicants will be notified on the 29 May, 2025.

Reimbursement of expenses
Travel expenses should be discussed with the Rootlings National Project Officer before the expense is incurred. The ASVO will reimburse expenses incurred for travel to the NSW Rootlings Conference, subject to the following guidelines:
Reporting of Reimbursable Expenses
All reimbursable expenses must be accounted for on an expense report form, and emailed to Chris Waters at asvo@asvo.com.au and supported by a tax invoice. Expenses which are not accompanied by a tax invoice may not be reimbursed. The expense report must be submitted for reimbursement within thirty (30) days of the expense being incurred to be reimbursed. Expense reports received after this time may not be reimbursed
Travel
The most efficient and economical mode of transportation should be utilised. Reimbursement for travel will only be made for the most direct and convenient route from the persons principal place of residence to and from the NSW Rootlings Conference.
Flights
Airfares will reimburse when it is deemed the most appropriate travel option available.
Hotel
Accommodation is held under your name at The Kidman Wayside Inn in Griffith located at 58/72 Jondaryan Ave, Griffith NSW 2680, for two nights from Sunday 15 June to Tuesday 17 June. You will need to use a credit card to be placed on file and to pay for the room (approximately $400 total) which can then be submitted on the expense form.
The following hotel accommodation expenses will not be reimbursed:
• In-room movies
• Mini-bar charges
• Telephone calls/internet charges
• Laundry/ dry cleaning
· Any damages or breakages
Meals
All meals during the NSW Rootlings Conference, except for breakfasts and the Sunday evening dinner, are included. Please let Jenna know if you have any dietary requirements.
