Western Australian Wine Industry Biosecurity workshops

To coincide with WA Wine Industry Biosecurity Week (8–12 June 2026), Wines of Western Australia, Wine Australia and DPIRD are pleased to present two half day hands‑on biosecurity workshops in Margaret River and the Swan Valley.

These workshops will be facilitated by Robyn Dixon, R&I Program Manager – Biosecurity, Pest & Disease at Wine Australia, and are designed to provide practical, face‑to‑face support tailored to your vineyard and business.

Participants will:

  • Develop a property‑specific biosecurity management plan

  • Learn to identify farm‑gate biosecurity risks, with a strong focus on visitor and contractor movement

  • Gain practical and effective strategies to reduce pest and disease risks

  • Understand how biosecurity best practices can help protect vineyard assets and meet sustainability certification requirements
